Greater Western Sydney GIANTS defender Aidan Corr will miss the rest of the 2014 season due to a shoulder injury.

The 20-year old has played four games this year, but an injury sustained in the Round 12 match against Essendon will see Corr sidelined for the rest of the season.

Corr will undergo surgery in the coming weeks to allow him to be able to resume full training with the GIANTS squad for pre-season later in the year.

After being a late withdrawal against Brisbane, defender Adam Kennedy will face a fitness test this week ahead of Sunday’s match against Carlton at Spotless Stadium.

Stephen Gilham will miss the next three to five weeks with a broken hand, while Curtly Hampton continues to recover from shoulder surgery that will rule him out for six weeks.

Defender Nick Haynes remains sidelined for an extended period with a broken ankle.
