Defenders Tim Mohr and Lachie Plowman are the latest players to re-commit to the GIANTS, signing contract extensions till the end of 2016.

Mohr, 25, has played 37 games for the GIANTS since he joined the club as a mature aged recruit at the end of 2011.
19-year old Plowman was selected at number three at the 2012 NAB AFL Draft and has played 11 games for the GIANTS.

Over 80 per cent of the GIANTS' playing list is now contracted beyond 2014.

General Manager Football Graeme Allan said the signings of Mohr and Plowman were another show of faith in the club.

“Lachie Plowman has shown a lot of promise in his first 11 games for the club and Tim Mohr has become one of our most important players as a key defender,” said Allan.

“Their decision to commit to the GIANTS is a strong endorsement of the club. They see the GIANTS as a place they want to be and believe in the direction of the club.
"We have a state of the art training and administration facility at Sydney Olympic Park and an exciting future on and off the field."
Lachie Plowman, 19, was the number three selection in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft and has played 11 games since his debut in Round 1, 2013.

Tim Mohr, 25, 2011 pre-selection and has played mainly as a key defender in his 37 games including every match in 2012.
