Saad joined the GIANTS in 2025 as a delisted free agent from the Gold Coast Suns, where she’d ruptured her Achillies and was forced to miss the entire 2024 AFLW season. Looking to return to the field this season after a lengthy rehab, Saad is a talented and versatile asset capable of playing as a key defender, key forward or in the ruck. She also brings a wealth of experience to the GIANTS, with 43 AFLW games to her name across both the Gold Coast Suns and North Melbourne where she was originally recruited by the Kangaroos as a mature-aged replacement player ahead of the 2020 season. The 33-year-old played 16 games across two years for the Kangaroos before being traded to the Suns in 2021. A former basketballer, Saad is known for her exceptional game sense and versatility.
