The GIANTS are pleased to advise that one the industry's most respected journalists and talent-spotters, Emma Quayle, has agreed to join the club as a recruiter.

Emma is regarded as the foremost feature writer on the AFL Draft - the 2016 AFL Draft was her 15th - and emerging talent in the AFL system, identifying and featuring many of the game's biggest stars long before they reach the elite level.

Having covered football for The Age since 2001, Emma's deep understanding of the next wave of AFL players sees her perfectly placed to embark on a career as a recruiter with the GIANTS - the first female recruiter in the AFL.

Emma has won awards from the Australian Football Media Association and AFL Players Association for her feature writing, her two books - The Draft and Nine Lives (the story of former Essendon wingman Adam Ramanauskas' battle with cancer) - were published in 2008 and 2010.
