The GIANTS are encouraging all members to make sure they get to this week’s game and help create a sea of orange to cheer our team on. If you can’t come to the game, give your tickets to a friend so there’s no empty seats on Sunday.
GIANTS 2016 General Admission members will be able to scan in however we suggest you arrive early to secure a seat and avoid match day queues.
GIANTS 100th AFL Game:
This week the GIANTS celebrate their 100th game in the AFL. After taking on the Swans in their very first game in round one 2012, plenty has happened as the GIANTS rise up the AFL ladder in their fifth year in the competition.
The GIANTS will look back on the past 99 games across the week on gwsgiants.com.au while the club will also wear a specially-designed commemorative jumper in this week’s match. The front of the jumper will feature a photo montage of GIANT moments throughout their history while the back will list the club firsts, head coaches, assistant coaches and every player to have been part of the club. The jumper will be available to purchase from shop.gwsgiants.com.au.
Virgin Australia Stage:
This week, a theatrical and musical journey hits the Virgin Australia Stage as three of Australia’s most electrifying performers, Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi and Brydon Stace, reunite for Ziggy, the Songs of David Bowie.
Bowie is the man who elevated his music to what can only be described as an art form and on Sunday at Spotless Stadium you’ll get to witness exploration of the creative genius of Bowie’s songs with a Bowie set list featuring hit after hit - Life on Mars, Young Americans, Starman, Fame, Ashes to Ashes, Under Pressure, Ziggy Stardust, Let’s Dance … and more!
White Ribbon Pledge:
At quarter time at Sunday’s game, the GIANTS ask everyone in the Stadium to take the White Ribbon Oath and help end violence against women. White Ribbon are the proud community match day partner for this week’s game and this will be the biggest Oath in their history. We ask everyone to stand and swear; I will stand up, speak out and act to prevent men's violence against women.
Location:
Spotless Stadium is located in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct just minutes from Olympic Park Station and across from ANZ Stadium and Qudos Bank Arena (formerly Allphones Arena).
Public Transport:
Travelling by trains to Sydney Olympic Park is FREE with your match ticket or membership card and trains depart Lidcombe station every 10 minutes until midnight.
Sydney buses will operate to a regular weekend timetable. Route 525 operates between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park (cost not included in your match ticket).

Parking:
Parking is available throughout Sydney Olympic Park. Pre-purchasing tickets to these car parks is recommended with the P1 carpark being within the closest proximity to Spotless Stadium. To find out more, click here.

Post Match:
The GIANTS are holding a special post-match function at the Learning Life Centre - their training and administration base - after the huge Sydney Derby X this Sunday.
Straight after kick to kick at Spotless Stadium, head down the road to GIANTS HQ for a heap of family friendly activities. We’ll also host another People’s Presser where you’ll have the chance to ask the hard questions of coach Leon Cameron and a few of his star players after the game. There will be a players signing autographs, player interviews, fan zone as well as food and drinks to purchase.
GIANTS HQ is located at 1 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park (opposite the State Sports Centre and just down from the Aquatic Centre) and all members and fans are welcome.
Team:
The GIANTS will name a 25-man squad on gwsgiants.com.au at 6.25pm on Thursday evening with the final team for Sydney Derby X to be named at 5pm on Friday.
Match Partners:
Toyo Tires embody the challenger spirit and wish to bestow a drive to perform upon the GIANTS as Match Day Partner in this historic clash against the Sydney Swans. Both sides will be heavily supported in what is sure to be a sold-out Spotless Stadium, but the team at Toyo Tires will be barracking for the GIANTS to overcome the odds on their home turf and make a strong statement on who are the superior Sydney side,
The meeting of these two teams will also highlight a mutual condemnation of men’s violence against women through White Ribbon, a worthy cause that Toyo Tires are honoured to support without bias by donating $250 for every goal scored in Sydney Derby X.
The GIANTS and Swans again play for the White Ribbon Cup, in support of Australia’s only national, male led campaign to end violence against women. The GIANTS have been a strong supporter of White Ribbon since the club’s inception and they are a premium community partner of the club.
The player judged best on ground will receive the Brett Kirk Medal. The Swans currently hold the White Ribbon Cup after a 25-point victory in round three at the SCG. Swans midfielder Luke Parker is the reigning Brett Kirk Medallist.
Patrons can nominate to donate $2 to White Ribbon when purchasing their tickets online, all donators will receive a pin. The GIANTS also encourage everyone in the Stadium to take the White Ribbon Oath at quarter time.
