The GIANTS have made four changes to their team to play the West Coast Eagles at Spotless Stadium on Saturday, naming a near full-strength side.

Shane Mumford, Jeremy Cameron, Devon Smith and Adam Tomlinson all return for the clash against the Eagles as the GIANTS try to lock in a top four spot.

The GIANTS’ all-time leading goal-kicker Jeremy Cameron has recovered from a hamstring strain suffered in the GIANTS’ round 19 win over Fremantle.

Cameron, who’s kicked 42 goals in 16 games in 2017, adds more firepower to the GIANTS attack while fellow forward Smith also makes his return after a week off with a knee injury.

Mumford returns after serving a one week suspension for his bump on Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn in round 20 as Tomlinson comes back into the side after being a late omission from the GIANTS’ win last Friday night over the Western Bulldogs.

The incoming quartet replaces veteran Steve Johnson (knee) as well as ruckman Dawson Simpson, midfielder Matt Kennedy and versatile swingman Harry Himmelberg who’ve all been omitted.

“It’s great to have these guys back in,” said GIANTS coach Leon Cameron.

“We were really happy with how Shane went against Melbourne a fortnight ago. He unfortunately missed last week due to suspension but he’s ready to go against West Coast.

“Adam Tomlinson has played a lot of footy in the back half for us this season so it’s good to have him return to take on the Eagles.

“Steve Johnson will miss this week with that ongoing knee issue but we expect it to only keep him sidelined this week.”

This week sees the GIANTS celebrate Members Appreciation Round with the club hosting the biggest post-match event ever seen at the WestConnex Centre following Saturday’s game.

Cameron said that with the club’s official membership tally reaching 20,944 in 2017, the playing group wants to recognise the support they’ve received this year.

“We’ve seen our membership base increase by 36% this year and our fans and members have really helped us get over the line in some tight games.

“I know our players are looking forward to running out onto Spotless Stadium in front of plenty of fans in orange this Saturday at 4.35pm.

“It’s going to be a really tough game against the Eagles who are hungry to secure a top eight spot so I encourage everyone to come along to Spotless Stadium to see what’ll no doubt be an entertaining game of footy.”

The GIANTS, shorts partner Dyldam and Channel 7 are calling on all fans to dig deep this weekend and give generously to Community Match Day Partner Ronald McDonald House Westmead as they raise much needed funds for their new house.

Channel 7 personalities will be at the game showing their support and encouraging fans to dig deep to help those in need.
