The football season swings into action this week with the GIANTS’ intra-club match at Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday.
Spots in the club’s first NAB Challenge match in Canberra next week will be on the line as the GIANTS play the GIANTS in a full-scale practice match.
Members and fans are welcome to come and watch with all available players to be split into two teams to compete against each other over four 25-minute quarters.
The match begins at 9am at the club’s training and administration base at 1 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park. Please note there is no parking on-site.
There’ll be a barbecue and the GIANTS cafe open for food and coffee to purchase.

The intra-club match kicks of a huge week of activities in Sydney for GIANTS fans with the players to visit schools throughout Western Sydney for their Australia Post AFL Community Camp on Thursday, February 18.
There’s also the Sydney Fan Day at Blacktown International Sportspark on Sunday, February 21 from 1pm-4pm.
The entire GIANTS playing squad will be in attendance so make sure you bring an autograph book or GIANTS jumper to get some signatures. There will also be live music, football clinics, jumper presentation and a Q&A with GIANTS coach Leon Cameron.
The GIANTS’ NAB Challenge campaign kicks off on Thursday, February 25 at Manuka Oval in Canberra against the Western Bulldogs before games against the Swans at Drummoyne Oval and the Brisbane Lions at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.
