Name: Nathan Wilson
Number: 16
2015 Games: 13 AFL/ 7 NEAFL
AFL Fantasy Average: 48
Awards: Nil

Background: Nathan Wilson joined the GIANTS as a 17-year-old Access Selection in 2011.

Best Game: AFL Round 19 v Essendon - 18 touches, 6 marks, 4 rebound-50s

Summary: It was a career-best season for Nathan Wilson who managed to play 13 games at senior level after, his best effort since 2012. Although he was often thrown the substitute vest before games, he still managed to produce an exciting highlights reel showcasing his trademark dash from half back. When he was squeezed out of the side he showed his class back in the NEAFL, often pushing forward to play a sweeper role driving the ball long inside forward-50. Wilson also put pen to paper and re-signed with the club until at least the end of 2018.

Pat On The Back: Wilson was starting substitute on four occasions, twice more than any other GIANTS player. Once he joined the game he burst into action and made up for lost time.

What They Said: "This season has been my best yet and I just want to keep improving. Under Leon Cameron we all know there are exciting things to come and I want to be a part of it." - Nathan Wilson

Look Ahead: With the sub rule scrapped for the 2016 season, expect Wilson to get more game time and hence increase the amount of times he gets the football. An elite kick, Wilson will look to average more than 11 disposals (2015 average).
