The GIANTS can confirm Jarrod Pickett will remain at the club until at least the end of 2017.

Contrary to media reports on Wednesday, Pickett originally signed a three-year deal with the GIANTS after being drafted to the club with pick number four in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft.

The small forward from South Fremantle has played the first three games of the NEAFL season with the UWS GIANTS, kicking two goals.

He was last week named as an emergency for the first time for the club’s clash with West Coast.

The GIANTS’ team to take on Hawthorn at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon will be named on gwsgiants.com.au at 6.25pm on Thursday.
