The GIANTS are set to hit the training track for the first day of the pre-season with their sights firmly set on 2015.

The club’s first- to fourth-year players will be welcomed back with a 3-kilometre time trial at Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday.

The group includes young stars Adam Treloar, Dylan Shiel, Devon Smith, Will Hoskin-Elliott and Jeremy Cameron as well as Josh Kelly, who ran the second-fastest 3km time trial in draft history back in 2013.

A number of players have already returned to the club to begin their preparations early while others have hit the gym back home or overseas.

The 2015 fixture was released last week with the GIANTS to kick off their NAB Challenge campaign against Gold Coast at Blacktown International Sportspark on March 7 before opening the season against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on April 5.

PM CAPITAL GIANTS Academy player Jack Steele will be among the group to return on Wednesday while new recruits Ryan Griffen, Joel Patfull and the remainder of the playing group will arrive back at the club on November 17.

Wednesday begins a two month block of training leading into the GIANTS’ training camp in Noosa in December.
