After playing 19 games in two years, former number four draft pick Will Hoskin-Elliott was primed for a breakout year in 2014.
Not selected for the opening two games of the season, Hoskin-Elliott broke into the side in Round 3 and didn’t miss a game for the rest of the year, playing 20 games and averaging 13 disposals, almost five marks and over a goal a game.
He became a huge threat up forward with his high leaps and incredible speed, kicking 26 goals for the year.
He had 27 touches against Geelong in Round 18, 13 marks against Richmond in Round 19 and kicked a career-high five goals in the GIANTS’ thrilling Round 23 win against the Bulldogs.
Hoskin-Elliott won the GIANTS’ Lifebroker Mark Of The Year for one of his two incredible hangers during the Round 11 game against Hawthorn.
He also finished in equal-seventh place in the 2014 Kevin Sheedy Medal.
