He’s an Australian cricketing legend working with the GIANTS and now former test cricketer Simon Katich will be in the #AskaGIANT hot seat to answer all your burning questions.

The Kat will takeover the GIANTS’ Twitter and Facebook accounts from 10.30am on Thursday, April 17.

So take a morning tea break, send him your questions and he’ll answer them live - they can be on footy, cricket, or anything in between.

Katich played 56 Test matches for Australia between 2001-2010, scoring over 4000 runs at an average of 45, including 10 centuries.

He captained New South Wales between 2002-10 and played county cricket for Lancashire last winter. He grew up in Western Australia and has been a lifelong AFL fan.

In November, Katich joined the GIANTS as the Player Development Coordinator to deliver a range of programs and initiatives to provide on and off field leadership and mentoring to the club’s leadership and playing group.

He also acts as the club’s match-day runner, travelling up to 20 kilometres a game delivering messages from the coaching staff to players on field.

To take part in the event, simply follow us on Twitter @GWS_Giants, or like us on Facebook and use #AskaGIANT when posting questions.

The live event will run from 10.30am on Thursday, April 17.
