GIANTS defender Tim Mohr has had a setback in his return from a foot injury and will spend at least the next month on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Mohr was on track to return to the GIANTS line-up in the coming weeks, but hurt his knee at training and has undergone minor surgery.

In better news, fellow defender Phil Davis is recovering at home from a kidney injury suffered in Round 1 against the Swans after spending 13 days in hospital.

Midfielders Dylan Shiel (quad) and Rhys Palmer (hamstring) remain on track to return to the GIANTS side in the coming weeks following leg injuries, while Sam Schultz continues to recover from shoulder surgery.
