Brett Deledio, Daniel Lloyd, Lachlan Keeffe, Matt Buntine and Aiden Bonar have been added to the GIANTS’ 26-man squad as they get set to head to Adelaide to take on the Power on Sunday.
The GIANTS will name their final 22 for the huge clash between fifth and seventh on the AFL ladder on Friday afternoon.
The only confirmed out at this stage is veteran Ryan Griffen, who will miss this week’s match with hamstring soreness.
Deledio could play his first game since round six with hamstring and calf injuries limiting the 31-year-old’s games this season.
The former Tiger played some of his best football for the GIANTS in the early part of the season with hauls of 28, 29 and 28 touches in his last three games before injury.
Forward Daniel Lloyd played every game this season until round 12 when he injured his knee. He made a successful return through the NEAFL last weekend with 19 touches.
Former Magpie Keeffe has played three games for the GIANTS since being selected as a delisted free agent ahead of the 2018 season. He offers incredible versatility, able to play in the ruck, back and even through the middle.
Defender Matt Buntine made his return from a knee reconstruction in round 10 this year and has been in impressive NEAFL form while young midfielder Aiden Bonar could play his first game if named in the final team.
The 22 to take on the Power will be named on gwsgiants.com.au at 5pm on Friday.
