There are so many reasons why you should come to UNSW Canberra Oval this Saturday but we've narrowed it down to ten.

With the GIANTS set to take on Fremantle in a big clash at UNSW Canberra Oval, we’ve come up with 10 reasons why you should get along to the football on Saturday afternoon.

1. The Raiders’ game doesn’t kick off until 7:35pm so there’s more than enough time to see the entirety of the GIANTS game, participate in Macca’s kick2kick and still get across town to GIO Stadium.

2. It’s been 5,807 days since the Dockers last played in Canberra. Back then the likes of Matthew Pavlich, Peter Bell, Jeff Farmer and Shaun McManus were the stars for Fremantle while their opponents North Melbourne featured Glenn Archer, David King, Matthew ‘Spider’ Burton, Byron Pickett, Mick Martyn, Adam Simpson and Anthony Stevens.

3. After a four games of AFL and AFLW games in a six week window, the GIANTS next play at UNSW Canberra Oval in round 20.

4. It’s a great afternoon for the whole family with family tickets of two adults and two kids starting from just $115! CLICK HERE to buy your tickets now.

5. With only Under 18’s football underway in Canberra and senior Men’s and Women’s football in Canberra AFL getting underway from April 20, and Junior football still a month away, this is your best option to get some AFL action in this weekend!

6. If you’re not an NRL fan and you’re not going to be heading to GIO Stadium because you’re a union fan, you’ll have plenty of time to get home to watch the Brumbies on TV at 5.30pm.

7. Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe – the 2015 Brownlow Medallist – is back to his best, while Toby Greene is back for the GIANTS. Two of the most exciting players in the competition will be in action at UNSW Canberra Oval, it’ll be worth the price of admission alone.

8. The GIANTS Junior Clubs March is on with over 550 junior footballers from Canberra, the Riverina, the South Coast and the Sapphire Coast marching around UNSW Canberra Oval.

9. The GIANTS are shooting for eight straight wins at UNSW Canberra Oval. The GIANTS haven’t lost in the nation’s capital since round 17, 2015 and it’s the longest winning run by any team at UNSW Canberra Oval.

10. You could win big at both quarter time and three quarter time! UNSW Canberra gives you the chance to win $1,000 at the quarter time break at by simply heading to the UNSW Canberra activation pre-game in the Fan Zone, collect your UNSW Canberra sunnies and when you hear My Future's So Bright at quarter-time, show us your best moves to take home a grand in the hand. Meanwhile, The Toyo Tires Kick for Cash gives you the chance to kick for $100,000 by posting a selfie prior to the bounce this Saturday on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #DrivenToPerform and you could be kicking for $100,000 at three-quarter time.
