The GIANTS have selected 19-year old Academy product Lachlan Tiziani with pick 54 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.

Originally from Broken Hill, Tiziani relocated to Albury to play TAC Cup for the Murray Bushrangers where he had a strong impact as a top age forward in 2016.

Tiziani played his best football in the second half of the season as a mid sized forward, kicking 32 goals in his last nine games to become one of the TAC Cup’s most dangerous forwards.

A gifted and athletic forward, Tiziani possesses an incredible vertical leap having topped the 2015 NAB AFL Draft combine rankings with a leap of 97cm.

Having been overlooked in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft, Tiziani played four NEAFL games for the WSU GIANTS in 2016 giving the explosive forward the perfect opportunity to show his talents in front of the GIANTS staff.

Tiziani joins fellow GIANTS Academy products Will Setterfield (pick 5), Harry Perryman (pick 14) and Isaac Cumming (pick 20)in joining the club, along with Victorian midfielder/forward Tim Taranto (pick 2).
