The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have today received picks 10, 43 and 64 from Melbourne in this year’s NAB AFL draft in exchange for midfielder Tomas Bugg and pick 7.
 
The GIANTS acquired pick 7 today as part of the Adam Treloar deal with Collingwood and have on-traded this draft selection to Melbourne, along with trading Tomas Bugg, in exchange for three more selections in this year’s draft.
 
The GIANTS now have eight picks in the first four rounds of next month’s NAB AFL draft as well as three future first round selections and two future second round selections in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.

Tomas Bugg played 65 games in four seasons with the GIANTS having joined the club as a 17-year-old access selection in 2011.
 
After playing 16 games for the GIANTS in 2015 and coming out of contract as season’s end, Bugg had been seeking more senior football opportunities.
 
“Tomas is a founding player of the club and departs the GIANTS with our best wishes,” Allan said.
 
“Given our talented young list Tomas felt there would be more opportunities elsewhere to play consistent senior football.”
 
The GIANTS today sent Lachie Plowman, Andrew Phillips, Jed Lamb, Liam Sumner and pick 8 to Carlton in exchange for the Blues’ second, fifth and seventh round selections (currently picks 28, 77 and 95) and one of their future first round selections in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.
 
The GIANTS also received Collingwood’s 2015 first and fourth round draft selections (currently picks 7 and 65) as well as the Magpies' 2016 future first-round pick in exchange for midfielder Adam Treloar and a second-round pick acquired from Carlton (currently pick 28).
 
During this trade period the GIANTS have acquired former Geelong players Steve Johnson and Dawson Simpson and currently hold picks 10, 27, 43, 48, 64, 65, 66, 70, 77, 84, 95 and 102 in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft in addition to three future first-round picks and two future second-round picks in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.
