Greater Western Sydney GIANTS defender Joel Patfull yesterday suffered a fractured clavicle following a minor motorbike accident while on holiday in Bali.

Patfull was on the first day of a surfing trip with former Brisbane teammate Zac O’Brien when he fell from a motorbike in Kuta last night.

The 30-year-old was assessed at the BIMC hospital in Kuta and diagnosed with a fractured left clavicle. GIANTS medical staff have been in ongoing contact with the hospital.

Patfull is making arrangements to fly home to Australia and will undergo specialist assessment upon his return. His pre-season training schedule will be determined following further assessment.

Patfull joined the GIANTS at the end of the 2014 season after playing 182 games for Brisbane Lions. He played 16 games for the GIANTS in 2015.
