The Battle of the Bridge is one of the biggest games of the year so it’s only fitting to have two of the biggest performances on the Virgin Australia Stage.

The GIANTS’ round 22 Sydney Derby on August 22 against the Swans will include half-time and post-match performances featuring classic rock band the CHOIRBOYS and Aussie rock icon Shannon Noll.

Noll returns to the Virgin Australia Stage for the second time this season following his impressive performance in round eight.

He’s just one of a great line-up of local artists who have performed on the Virgin Australia Stage this season including Justice Crew, pop star Nathaniel and Aussie icon DIESEL rocking the stage last weekend.

The CHOIRBOYS will also perform after the game during extended kick-to-kick on the purpose-build stage just metres from the field.

Shannon Noll will join the GIANTS’ house band Big, Big Sound for an intimate performance for fans at the club’s Learning Life Centre after the game.

With ten top-10 singles, five top-10 albums and six Aria nominations, Shannon Noll fans can expect to hear hits such as What About Me?, Drive and Lift among others during his performances at half-time and after the game.

The CHOIRBOYS are an Australian hard rock and pub rock band from Sydney formed in 1979 with mainstays Mark Gable on lead vocals and Ian Hulme on bass guitar. Their hit Run to Paradise reached number there on the charts in 1987.

GIANTS match days are great fun for the whole family with kick to kick after every game on top of some of Australia’s best performers on the Virgin Australia Stage.

With the GIANTS pushing for their first-ever finals appearance the Swans trying to lock in a top four spot, this will be one of the fiercest Sydney Derbies in history.

The Battle of the Bridge will also feature a post-match function at GIANTS HQ in Sydney Olympic Park with a player signing session, kick-to-kick on Tom Wills Oval with GIANTS players, food and drinks available for purchase and live music.

The GIANTS take on the Swans on Saturday, August 22 at 2.10pm at Spotless Stadium. General Admission seating is already sold out so get in quick to secure your tickets today.
