The GIANTS are delighted to have Harvey Norman expand their partnership across the club, seeing the retail giant become a Major Partner of the AFL program for the 2021 Season.

GIANTS members and fans are familiar with the iconic red and white logo with Harvey Norman’s support central to the success of the club’s women’s football program, where they have been the Principal Partner since the inaugural AFLW season in 2017.

The expanded partnership will see the Harvey Norman logo feature prominently on the back of the AFL jumper, giving Harvey Norman a year-round connection to the GIANTS’ passionate membership and supporter base.

Harvey Norman's relationship with the GIANTS and the code goes back to 2015 when they helped take the Auburn GIANTS to the MCG.

GIANTS Chief Executive David Matthews said the alignment between the two organisations makes this an ideal partnership.

“This is a wonderful endorsement of our club and we welcome Harvey Norman’s involvement across our AFL program on top of their ongoing commitment to our AFLW program,” said Mr Matthews.

“Since first engaging with the club in 2015, Harvey Norman has built tangible connections with our athletes, staff and members and we look forward to this continuing for many years to come.

“Harvey Norman’s growth from humble beginnings in Western Sydney to now being a global-force in the retail sector is a success story that we connect with and we are excited to continue to grow together.”

Harvey Norman Chief Executive Katie Page said there are many benefits from this expanded partnership.

“Harvey Norman is thrilled to build on the partnership we’ve had with the women’s football program over the past six years and now have a connection with the club for 12 months of the year.

“The GIANTS have always made the women’s football program a priority across all areas of the club. We have admired the ‘one club’ approach and we see this expanded partnership as part of this.

“We love the community connection the GIANTS have to Western Sydney and the surrounding areas and this partnership will allow us to build on the support we provide to the grassroots level.

“We remain staunchly committed to supporting the women’s program and we can’t wait for what’s next between the GIANTS and Harvey Norman.”

The Harvey Norman logo will proudly sit on the back of the AFL jumper from Sunday, April 4 when the GIANTS host Melbourne at Manuka Oval, Canberra in Round 3 of the AFL season.
