The GIANTS have moved up the draft order after completing a pick swap with the Western Bulldogs.

The GIANTS sent this year’s picks 29 and 52 to the ‘Dogs and received pick 26 in return.

GIANTS National Recruiting Manager Adrian Caruso said the club is constantly looking to improve its hand ahead of next week’s Draft.

“We’re in a strong position with four picks in the first round and five picks under 30 but we’re constantly looking to strengthen our position in the lead up to next week,” he said.

“We’re planning on selecting five players next week which means we can use our later picks, that might be useful to other clubs, to move ourselves up the draft order.”

The national draft will be held on the night of Wednesday, December 9 with the pre-season and rookie drafts to be held the next day.

The GIANTS now hold picks 10, 13, 15, 20, 26, 74 and 88 at next week’s Draft.
