Fresh off three goals and headed for his first Grand Final, you'd think Jeremy Cameron's best contribution on Saturday was on the MCG's hallowed turf.

But hours before the preliminary final, Cameron made someone's day off the field after having a kick with his teammates.

Cameron found a lost wallet and returned it, with an extra $50 in there for the wallet's owner to purchase a Giants scarf and beanie ahead of the preliminary final clash against Collingwood.

The wallet's owner put a photo of the letter out on Facebook, before a friend of his tweeted it out.

The GIANTS have been well known for some generous gestures in recent times.

Midfielder Stephen Coniglio discussed on the Dyl and Friends podcast how he created a WhatsApp group with a few friends, including former GIANT Tom Bugg, with the purpose of the group to share random acts of kindness with strangers.

"I was filling up my car this morning, there was a lady behind me and it was early in the morning and I paid for her petrol and my petrol. You should have seen her face," Coniglio said.

Each person added to Coniglio's group chat is asked to add another friend, so the sharing of gratitude and kindness can spread.
