The GIANTS have made three changes for their round six clash with the Crows in the AFLW on Sunday.

As revealed on Thursday evening, local South Australian teacher Lisa Whiteley will make her AFLW debut in her home town.

The 26-year-old has been named on the final interchange alongside ruck Erin McKinnon and midfielder Jodie Hicks

McKinnon returns from a fortnight out with illness and then a thumb injury suffered at training.

For the first time the GIANTS will go in with two rucks with fellow Sydneysider Ingrid Nielsen taking the ruck duties while McKinnon was out.

The two will combine in the same team for the first time at Unley Oval on Sunday.

Hicks has been recalled to the side for her third game of the season while Tait Mackrill, Taylah Davies and Haneen Zreika have been omitted.

The GIANTS head to the city of churches to take on the Adelaide Crows at Unley Oval at 2:05pm AEDT on Sunday.
