Canberran Emily Pease will make her AFLW debut this Sunday, as the only change to the GIANTS’ team.

Pease, who was an emergency in round one, comes into the squad for Chloe Dalton who was unable to get up for the clash against Fremantle after injuring her shoulder against the Suns in the opening round.

It was an emotional and proud Dalton who did the honours of announcing Pease as her replacement for this week.

Pease was drafted to the GIANTS ahead of the 2021 season and spent her first year with the club growing and developing her game.

A stand-out this pre-season, Pease has not missed a beat to put her best foot forward and earn a rightful debut.

Pease was taken at pick at pick 29 in the 2020 NAB AFLW Draft, a product of the Belconnen Magpies in the AFL ACT Women’s Competition.

The GIANTS will look to continue their winning start to season 2022 when they face the in-form Dockers at Victoria University Whitten Oval on Sunday.

Both teams are coming off a win and will meet on neutral ground in Melbourne due to the current border restrictions in Western Australia.

The match forms part of a double header, with the Eagles and Suns playing earlier in the day.

GIANTS fans can watch the match live on 7Two in NSW and ACT, or on Foxtel, Kayo or the Telstra TV, AFL Women’s or AFL Official Apps.
