The GIANTS work with charity partners and charities as a part of our social responsibility within Western Sydney, ACT, Southern NSW and broader communities.

The GIANTS aim to work with a number of charity partners to address relevant social issues and drive awareness.

Our charity partners have a clear alignment to the GIANTS club values and objectives whilst being genuine, meaningful and respectful in our community footprint.

Soldier On works to enhance recovery, inspire communities and empower Australians who have suffered physical and psychological injuries while in the Defence forces.

The GIANTS have worked with Soldier On through a range of initiatives in Western Sydney and Canberra including fundraising support, inner sanctum experiences for veterans and mentoring programs. How can you help Soldier On:

Ladder was founded by three AFL players who wanted to do more to help tackle youth homelessness in young people aged 16-25. As a result, Ladder works closely with the AFL Players’ Association, the AFL and the players themselves.

Ladder help to focus on young peoples strengths and what they can achieve, moving away from the cycle of disadvantage and negativity they may have experienced in their lives. It is about developing self confidence and helping young people to identify and achieve their life goals. To find out more about Ladder, visit

Can Too

Can Too Foundation was established in 2005 to promote community health and wellbeing whilst raising money for Australian cancer research.

Can Too transforms lives through structured training and mentoring programs that support community members to achieve physical goals and mentor them to fundraise for cancer research.

The GIANTS' partnership with Can Too helps to promote the personal and lasting community benefits of positive lifestyle programs while reducing the risk of cancer in Western Sydney, Canberra and the greater community. For more visit

The Ronald McDonald House Westmead is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family needs to focus on the health of their seriously ill child. They help lighten the burden by providing a ‘home away from home’ so families can keep close to support each other.

The GIANTS have been an integral part of making the children smile with their visits through the Gentle GIANTS program, often kicking the footy with the kids, cooking a BBQ or just having a chat. Donate to the RMH Westmead here:

Books in Homes

Books in Homes is a charitable foundation that provides quality books-of-choice to children living in remote, disadvantaged and low socio-economic circumstances, ensuring crucial early literacy engagement and the development of reading skills needed for lifelong achievement.

Books In Homes will work within the GIANTS communities to share the importance of reading and literacy while identifying the schools with the most need for books. To find out more about this program, visit



Headspace is the first national organisation established in Australia to deliver early intervention mental health services for young people aged 12 to 25. 

Throughout the partnership headspace will promote their “headcoach” campaign by using GIANTS players to show how they train their minds – what are the little or everyday things they do to reach their potential and live fun and fulfilling lives. For more about headspace, visit
