Howlong footballer Josh Murphy is already showing great signs at the age of 11.
He has been selected to play in the NSW Australian Rules Football team at the national championships after great performances at the NSW carnival in Batemans Bay in May. He was voted runner-up in the players' player award as recognition of his achievements and sportsmanship on and off the field.
Josh will now head to Canberra in August, where he is looking to play against some of the best football players the country has to offer.
Josh plays in the under 14s Howlong Spiders team, and is into his second season at that age level. In his first season, he won the Rising Star award for a great debut season.
Josh has played all his footy for Howlong, starting as a four-year-old in AusKick.
