The GIANTS will look to re-rookie forward Sam Reid after delisting the veteran today ahead of the AFL’s first list lodgement deadline.

Reid has enjoyed a remarkable comeback after retiring from the AFL in 2013 with the 27-year old playing 19 games for the GIANTS since coming out of retirement two years ago.

GIANTS General Manager Football Wayne Campbell said: “With recent changes made to the list management rules, clubs have a bit more flexibility around moving players between the primary and rookie list.

“The club, Sam and his management are all on the same page regarding Sam’s playing future at the GIANTS and we will re-draft Sam onto our Rookie list at the Rookie Draft.”

All 18 clubs have until Wednesday, November 29 to lodge their final playing list for 2018 with the AFL.
