SUMMARY
The GIANTS have come under plenty of fire this week and have to get their season back on track against Fremantle, another team struggling for form.
The GIANTS have won just one game in its past six, while the Dockers have taken the points once in their last eight clashes.
Another undisciplined act from star forward Toby Greene sees him in the stands for the next two games which hurts the home side significantly, but Freo has lost exciting midfielder Michael Walters for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Co-captains Callan Ward and Phil Davis have been outstanding for the GIANTS recently but they need the rest of the team to jump onboard, or their top-four chances and premiership hopes, could slip away over the next month.
A win over the Dockers is an absolute must for the GIANTS on Saturday afternoon.

THE SIX POINTS
1. When the teams last played, the GIANTS led only 20 points at half-time before kicking 11 goals to two behinds in the second half. Jonathon Patton was the star kicking a career-high six goals.
2. There is a big difference in scoring power between the sides, the GIANTS are fifth averaging 96 points per game, compared to the Dockers who are 17th with an average of 73 points.
3. The GIANTS and Fremantle clash for the seventh time and the Dockers hold the edge winning four games to two. There have been some big margins with four of those matches decided by more than 70 points.
4. The GIANTS have been impressive at Spotless Stadium this season winning four of six games, with one draw. Since the start of 2016 they’ve won 10 of 15 at the venue.
5. Another loss for the GIANTS and it will be the first time since rounds 11-14, 2015 they will have lost three consecutive matches. Since round 12 they have one win, three losses and two draws.
6. Since the start of the season, Dockers midfielder Lachie Neale has risen from 32nd to 11th in the Official AFL Player Ratings, making him the club's highest-ranked player.
