Toby Greene has accepted a two-week suspension for striking Alex Rance during the GIANTS’ loss to the Tigers.

Greene was reported during the first quarter of the match between the GIANTS and Tigers at the MCG on Sunday.

The incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head with the Match Review Panel offering the forward a two match suspension, with an early plea.

Greene has two matches of suspension within the last two years, which qualifies as a bad record, increasing the penalty to a three-match sanction. An early plea enables him to accept two matches.

The GIANTS take on Fremantle at Spotless Stadium on Saturday at 2:10pm.
