It’s a night of blockbusters in Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday night, including Sydney Derby XIII, so take a read and plan ahead for the best way to cheer on your GIANTS.  

The easiest way to beat the crowds is by taking advantage of the free train travel to Saturday’s game included with your GIANTS 2017 Membership or match ticket.

Head to the WestConnex Centre early for our pre-game function starting at 3pm, with GIANTS players making an appearance, food and drink available and a range of activities for all ages.

After loading up on merchandise from the GIANTS Shop, you can join our march to Spotless Stadium at 5pm and enjoy a drink at The Lawns outside Gate D or cheer on the GIANTS Reserves in their NEAFL clash with the Swans at Spotless Stadium before the first bounce at 7.25pm.

Additional train services will run to Olympic Park including:

  • Express services from Central leave every 7-8 minutes between 16:27 and 21:00, stopping at Redfern and Strathfield then Olympic Park.
  • Express services from Blacktown leave every 7-8 minutes between 16:30 and 20:59, stopping at Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Lidcombe and Olympic Park.
  • Blue Mountains Line services to Central between 17:00 and 20:00 will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.

Alternatively, you can catch a train to Lidcombe Station then head to Platform Zero for a direct service to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until 22:00.

Getting home:

Additional return services will run after the match to help you get home.

  • Express to Central: trains will leave Olympic Park every 4 minutes from 21:30 to 01:00, stopping at Strathfield, Redfern then Central.
  • Express to Blacktown: trains will leave Olympic Park every 6 minutes from 21:30 until 01:00, stopping at Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead, Seven Hills and Blacktown. Some services will extend to Schofields and Penrith.
  • To Campbelltown: additional services will leave Lidcombe at 22:37, 23:05, stopping at Auburn, Granville, Merrylands then all stations to Campbelltown.
  • Inner West Line: additional services to the city will leave Lidcombe at 22:34, 23:10 and 23:04, stopping all stations to City Circle.
  • To Kiama: an additional service will leave Central at 23:00, stopping at Redfern, Wolli Creek, Hurstville, Sutherland, Waterfall then all stations to Kiama.
  • Blue Mountains Line: all trains leaving Central 22:00 until 00:30 will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.
  • Central Coast & Newcastle Line: an additional service will leave Central at 23:17, stopping Strathfield (23:32), Eastwood, Epping, Hornsby and then all stations (except Wondabyne) to Hamilton.
