Best 21 and under: Tim Taranto

Recruit of the year: With Brett Deledio sidelined through injury and Tendai Mzungu and Matt De Boer playing limited games, No.2 draft pick Tim Taranto is clearly the best new face in GIANTS colours this year.

Mark of the year: Toby Greene, round one, Adelaide. It was a tough day for the GIANTS but Greene's pack mark in the opening term was a cracker.
