Adam Tomlinson is the latest player to re-commit to the GIANTS, signing a two-year contract extension.

The 23-year old’s new deal will see him remain with the club until at least the end of 2019.

Having spent the early part of his career as a mobile forward, Tomlinson enjoyed a strong finish to the 2016 season after settling into the GIANTS’ back six.

Tomlinson has played 67 games since joining the club through the 2011 NAB AFL Draft and said he’s thrilled to extend his contract with the GIANTS.

“I’m really enjoying my new role in the backline and as a club we are certainly heading in the right direction,” said Tomlinson.

"Sydney is a great place to live and this club feels like home so it was an easy decision to put pen to paper.”

General Manager Football Wayne Campbell said Tomlinson’s signature is another endorsement of the GIANTS' program.

“Adam has developed into an integral part of our backline so we’re delighted he’s re-committed to the GIANTS,” said Campbell.

“He’s been here from the start and has really developed his game in the last 12 months.

“Adam is a popular figure within the club as well as a favourite with our supporters who will be really happy with this news.”

In further good news, young ruckman Matt Flynn has also put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep the GIANTS Academy graduate at the club until the end of 2019.

Flynn, 19, made his senior AFL debut on the weekend playing in the GIANTS’ JLT Community Series game against West Coast in his home town of Narrandera.

The re-signing of Tomlinson and Flynn comes shortly after Zac Williams, Rory Lobb and Stephen Coniglio also re-committed to the GIANTS.
