Virgin Australia Stage:

Australian pop rock band 1927 are set to hit the Virgin Australia Stage this Saturday afternoon at half time and post match. Known for enduring hits such as That’s When I Think of You, Don’t Forget Me, and, of course, If I Could, 1927 made a devastating entry into the ears of its listeners with the Quintuple Platinum selling album …ish in 1988, which earned the band a slew of ARIA Awards as well as a lot of fans along the way. Following up …ish with the multi-platinum second album The Otherside, a self-titled third album, and countless live shows at home and abroad, the last couple of decades have certainly earned 1927 legendary status.

Location: 

Spotless Stadium is located in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct just minutes from Olympic Park Station and across from ANZ Stadium and Qudos Bank Arena (formerly Allphones Arena).

Public Transport:

Travelling by trains to Sydney Olympic Park is FREE with your match ticket or membership card and trains depart Lidcombe station every 10 minutes until midnight. 

Sydney buses will operate to a regular weekend timetable. Route 525 operates between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park (cost not included in your match ticket).

Normal non-event weekend transport will be available. Visit the Transport NSW website for more information.

Parking:

Parking is available throughout Sydney Olympic Park. Pre-purchasing tickets to these car parks is recommended with the P1 carpark being within the closest proximity to Spotless Stadium. To find out more, click here.

Head to the amphitheatre at Spotless Stadium straight after Saturday’s clash against Carlton for a special post match function. 

Straight after kick to kick at Spotless Stadium, head across to the amphitheatre located near Gate D where a panel of GIANTS players and a coach will answer your questions.

You can also meet the players on stage for photos and an autograph after the panel.
