Before we head to Adelaide Oval for this week’s big clash, check out some of the key stats which could influence the game between the Crows and the GIANTS.

This will be a battle between the two highest-scoring sides so far in 2016, with Adelaide ranked first averaging 113 points per game, just ahead of the GIANTS on 112 points.

Along with being first for points for, the Crows are also number one for scores inside 50 and for goals inside 50.

They have dangerous forwards all capable of kicking a bag with Josh Jenkins kicking eight against the Western Bulldogs in round 7.

Taylor Walker and Eddie Betts have each kicked five this season against the Suns and Port Adelaide respectively, while Mitch McGovern and Wayne Milera have also kicked bags of three.

The Crows are well-stocked with inside mids with Scott Thompson, Rory Sloane and Crouch brothers and Richard Douglas all good ball-getters.

Speedy forward Charlie Cameron is number two in the AFL for tackles in the forward half, averaging 4.8 per game.

The Crows are also the equal number one team scoring from a centre bounce over the past six weeks. The other team is the GIANTS with both sides scoring 18 goals from centre bounces in that period.

The GIANTS continue to be the number one clearance side in 2016 averaging 41.2 per game, and they’re also the number one centre clearance side, while Adelaide is equal third in that area.

The Crows and GIANTS have met six times in their history but just once last year. The Crows won the first five encounters between the sides by an average margin of 87 points, kicking 147 points per game.

The GIANTS turned the tables last season when they won by 24 points at Spotless Stadium in round 8. Toby Greene kicked three goals in that encounter while Dylan Shiel had 34 touches. For the Crows, Walker and Betts combined for seven goals.

The GIANTS have played at Adelaide Oval just twice and are yet to score a win there. So far in 2016 the GIANTS are four wins from five games outside of Sydney, including home games in Canberra.

The GIANTS travel to Adelaide to take on the Crows on Saturday night at Adelaide Oval at 7.40pm AEST.
