Three former GIANTS - now donning the red and blue for Melbourne - will line up against their ex-teammates tomorrow afternoon.

Tomas Bugg, Sam Frost and Dom Tyson were all traded to the Demons over the past three years. The trio will clash with the GIANTS at the MCG tomorrow at 1.40pm.

Bugg, the most recent of the group to swap allegiances, will be looking to make a good first impression after performing well in the NAB Challenge for his new side.

“I’ve been playing that wing role, so it makes it easy for when the boys when (sic) it inside to use it on the outside,” Bugg told Dee TV earlier this month.

“I’ve just been trying to earn respect through being tough at the contest and with tackles.

“I’ve just got to continue to do that, so the boys trust me.”

Bugg averaged 19 disposals and four tackles in the NAB Challenge, playing predominantly as a wing/ defensive role.

Melbourne has named Bugg on the interchange so fans will have to wait until Saturday afternoon to see what GIANTS player receives his close attention

Meanwhile Dom Tyson has been named on-ball and could go head-to-head with Dylan Shiel while Sam Frost has been named as the main target at half-forward meaning GIANTS co-captain Phil Davis might get that job.

The GIANTS and Melbourne are developing a rivalry between their two young lists, with the Demons taking the most recent bragging rights following a 26-point win in Round 23 last season.

That said, the GIANTS have won the previous four encounters by an average of 44 points.
