Our esteemed co-captain Phil Davis has donated his good looks to the Movember movement, raising almost $800 for men’s health.

Davis was part of the AFL Players Association team, including Richmond star Jack Riewoldt and St Kilda veteran Sam Gilbert, who raised $2246 across November by growing some questionable facial hair.

The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier and longer lives.

Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising $685 million and funding over 1,000 projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

The defender is no stranger to some upper lip growth with the 25-year-old ditching the razor for an extended period during his rehabilitation from a serious kidney injury last year.

Davis raised $790 including donations from Welfare Manager Dylan Addison and housemate and young GIANT Pat McKenna.

There was even a $100 donation from Australian fast bowler and huge GIANTS fan Mitch Starc.

While we’re fully behind the co-captain’s charity efforts, it’s a great relief Movember is over for another year.
