Another piece of the GIANTS' exciting forward line has been locked in with Will Hoskin-Elliott penning a two-year contract extension.

Hoskin-Elliott joins fellow young forwards Jeremy Cameron, Devon Smith, Jon Patton and Adam Tomlinson in recently re-committing to the GIANTS.

The new deal will see Hoskin-Elliott remain at the GIANTS until at least the end of 2017.

The 21-year old has played 44 games for the GIANTS after being selected with pick four in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.

He’s twice kicked five-goal hauls for the GIANTS and has quickly become a crowd favourite with his high marking and mercurial goal kicking ability.

Hoskin-Elliott said he’s excited to re-sign with the GIANTS.

“We’ve had a really strong start to the season and I can see that the playing group is heading in the right direction.

“I’ve been here from the start and I believe big things are around the corner for the club.

“Sydney feels like home for my girlfriend Kirstie and I, we’ve made some good friends at the GIANTS and I want to be a part of what we’re building.”

Chief Executive David Matthews said the club was delighted Hoskin-Elliott had re-signed:

“Will’s an exciting young player and his signature is further endorsement of the strong culture we’re building at the club.

“Like many of his team mates, Will has been here since the start and wants to be part of the exciting future that is taking shape at the GIANTS.

“We’ve had our best start to the season, we have state of the art facilities and this is where the players want to live and play football.”

Coach Leon Cameron said Hoskin-Elliott’s contract extension was another significant day for the GIANTS.

“We’re thrilled Will has re-signed with the GIANTS. He’s had to overcome a couple of injury concerns this season but is an important player and we’re delighted he wants to be part of the GIANTS.”

The GIANTS host Brisbane at Spotless Stadium this Sunday, June 7 at 1.10pm. It’ll be the first time the Lions play at Spotless Stadium. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
