16 PM CAPITAL GIANTS Academy players have been named in the 25-man squad to contest the U16 NAB AFL National Championships on the Gold Coast in early July.
It follows the PM CAPITAL GIANTS Academy U16s team’s clean sweep of the AFL NSW/ACT Academy series with an 11-point victory on Sunday.
The win means the PM CAPITAL GIANTS Academy were undefeated in both the U16 and U18 Academy series this year.
The second and final game of the U16 series was played in perfect conditions at Lakeside Oval in Moore Park in front of keen spectators and family members.
In a competitively fought affair the PM CAPITAL GIANTS Academy were in control of the game all day with late goals to the Swans reducing the final margin.
This was the final opportunity for members of both Academy programs to impress selectors for a position in the 2015 U16 NSW/ACT state team.
