Co-captain Phil Davis and star forward Jeremy Cameron have accepted early pleas from the Match Review Panel with Davis to miss Saturday’s match against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.

Davis was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Adelaide’s Luke Brown during the fourth quarter of the GIANTS’ 24-point win over the Crows at Spotless Stadium.

The incident was classified as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. It was classified as a two-match sanction. With no applicable bad record, an early plea reduced the sanction to one-match.

Cameron was reported during the first quarter of the GIANTS’ win over Adelaide at Spotless Stadium on Saturday for bumping or making forceful contact from front-on against Crow Kyle Cheney. 

The incident was classified as careless conduct with low impact to the head. The offence was classified as a $1500 sanction and with no applicable bad record, an early plea reduced the sanction to $1000. 

The fourth-placed GIANTS take on the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Saturday at 4.35pm as part of the 2015 Indigenous Round.
