The GIANTS have made two changes for their clash against the Crows at Spotless Stadium on Saturday.

Co-captain Phil Davis and young midfielder Josh Kelly return to the side for the fourth v fifth match as the GIANTS look to win three games in a row for the first time in their history.

Davis has overcome a corked leg which saw him withdrawn late from the side that defeated the Blues by a club-record 78-points last week.

Former number two draft pick Kelly also returns to the side after two best-on-ground performances for the UWS GIANTS in the NEAFL.

Aidan Corr has been omitted while midfielder Lachie Whitfield will miss through illness.

“Phil’s a very proud man, he wants to play every game, he was pretty flat he didn’t play last week but we feel as though he’s come along this week and he’s looking forward to taking on his old side,” said coach Leon Cameron.

“Josh has played some great footy in the midfield, along with a number of other players down at NEAFL level, he looks forward to getting his opportunity.”

The GIANTS are yet to beat the Crows in their five attempts and Cameron knows it won’t be an easy task at Saturday’s Family Fun Day at Spotless Stadium.

“They’re a very good side, they’re well coached, they’re well drilled, they play a really good defensive brand and when they hit the scoreboard they can hit it fast with Betts and Walker and Lynch and those sort of types.”

The Crows boast the highest-scoring forward duo in the League with Taylor Walker and Eddie Betts kicking 47 goals between them for the year.

But they’ll have competition at the other end of the ground with GIANTS pair Jeremy Cameron and Cam McCarthy just behind them with a combined 41 goals this season.

“Adelaide have got some great players in the midfield, great players forward and also down back so it’s a really even game and one we’re going to have to be playing some great footy to get over the line.”

The GIANTS play Adelaide at 2.10pm on Saturday, May 23 at Spotless Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park.
