LAST WEEK

A win against the across town rivals wasn’t to be, however the Fantasy scores went the GIANTS’ way 1640 to the Swans’ 1555.

38 disposals to Lachie Whitfield saw him bring up 128 points while fellow first round draftee Stephen Coniglio finished on 127. Cogs played a fantastic Fantasy game laying 10 tackles. At four points apiece, that’s a great way to boost the scoring!

Everyone’s favourite cheap forward, Cam McCarthy, scored 62. Sunshine added another $34K of value to take him to $228,000. Don’t sell him yet as he has a bit more growth left in him with his breakeven of -4.

TOP 5 SCORERS V SYDNEY SWANS

1.    128 – Lachie Whitfield (MID, $489,000)
2.    127 – Stephen Coniglio (MID, $475,000)
3.    110 – Devon Smith (FWD, $481,000)
4.    109 – Tom Scully (MID, $425,000)
5.    100 – Callan Ward (MID, $546,000)

ON THE RADAR

Playing support to Mumford before being subbed off, Andrew Phillips scored 35 points but more importantly, he could possibly be the ruck bench option we need. Priced at $151,000, he is cheap enough to sit on your bench just in case there is a late out with one of your ruckmen.

Some of the GIANTS midfielders are coming in a bit cheaper than where they started. Adam Treloar dropped $15K on the weekend, while Toby Greene is down $55K from his original price. With breakevens of 118 and 115 respectively, have them on your radar to pick up after this weekend.

Stephen Coniglio wore the green vest in round one but since saying goodbye to that the last two weeks, he has posted scores of 125 and 127. This could be the start of something special for the midfielder who averaged 95 Fantasy points at the U18 Championships back in 2011.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The GIANTS host the Suns on Saturday afternoon. Last time the two sides met, Callan Ward was the best for the GIANTS scoring 116 from a game-high 32 disposals. Gary Ablett (122) and Jaeger O’Meara (116) were the best for Gold Coast, however they are both currently injured on the sidelines.

Fantasy Coach projects Whitfield to score the most this weekend followed by Treloar, Ward and Dylan Shiel, who was quiet on the weekend after smashing 136 points the previous round.
