LAST WEEK

A big second half from the Giants saw them run out 45 point winners in Canberra. Callan Ward (MID, $550,000), Stephen Coniglio (MID, $547,000) and Shane Mumford (RUC, $506,000) were busy scoring 68, 67 and 67 points respectively after the main break. The Giants restricted the Demons to 1290 Fantasy points while racking up 1574 points themselves.

ON THE RADAR

Over 17% of coaches now have Cameron McCarthy (FWD, $194,000) in their Fantasy squad. The forward kicked three goals while spending time in the ruck to finish with 66 points and $34K price rise. McCarthy’s breakeven sits at -14 and still offers value for anyone needing a cash cow or some bench cover up forward. He is projected for a further $30K price increase after round three.

Toby Greene (MID, $549,000) has played different roles in the opening two rounds. First week he spent time back and on Saturday, he was forward. His price has dropped $34K and still has a reasonably high breakeven of 121. He will be worth considering once his price bottoms out and if he is in the mix for a position upgrade prior to round six.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The Battle for the Bridge will take place on Saturday afternoon in the twilight timeslot. The Giants took on the Swans twice last year for one win and one loss. In round one, Coniglio top scored with 130 and Adam Treloar (MID, $586,000) not far behind with 124. In the return match, Devon Smith (FWD/MID, $490,000) was the Giants’ best, racking up 103.

According to Fantasy Coach, Treloar is projected to be the top scorer this weekend.
