Twelve year old Conor Low is still pinching himself after the young GWS GIANTS fan got the chance to meet some of his AFL heroes this week when the GIANTS were in Canberra for their Australia Post Community Camp.

Conor entered an Australia Post competition inviting GIANTS' fans to nominate their ultimate community camp experience for the chance to win the experience and the Canberra High School student pulled out all the stops to ensure that GWS took notice of his entry.

“I just said in my entry how passionate I am about seeing the GIANTS succeed and win. I’ve been following them since day one and my room is overflowing with GWS memorabilia,” said Low.

“I was due to go to school camp when the GIANTS were in town, but after finding out I had won, Dad kindly offered to drive me to camp after I met the players. There’s no way that I was missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime experience to have a personalised training session,” he added.

GWS players Stephen Coniglio and Phil Davis followed through with Conor's request for his ultimate experience and made the trip to Conor’s house in Page to check out his room, which is filled with GWS memorabilia, as well as have a kick around in Connor's local park (Page Oval).

Australia Post is the official inclusion partner of the AFL and works closely with the AFL and clubs throughout the year to support local neighbourhoods and regional and rural communities across Australia connect with AFL at all levels of the game.

Conor's dream community camp experience is an extension of Australia Post’s aim in bringing footy fans closer to the game they love and support, particularly those living in regional parts of Australia who barrack for their AFL teams from afar.
