The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have finalised their playing list ahead of next month’s NAB AFL Draft.

The GIANTS will enter the Draft with selections 4, 6, 7, 23, 24 (committed to Jack Steele), 80, 98 and 116 (committed to Jeremy Finlayson).

All-Australian midfielder Ryan Griffen and dual Brisbane Lions best and fairest winner Joel Patfull have been added to the list following the recent trade period.

Eight players have departed the club: Josh Hunt, Stephen Gilham (both retired), Mark Whiley (Carlton), Sam Frost (Melbourne), Jono O’Rourke (Hawthorn), Kristian Jaksch (Carlton) Tom Boyd (Western Bulldogs)  Jonathan Giles (Essendon)

GIANTS General Manager Football Graeme Allan said there would be no further de-listings from the 2014 playing group, with Sam Schulz again offered a place on the rookie list in 2015.

“With Ryan Griffen and Joel Patfull added to our list, the commitments we’ve made to PM CAPITAL GIANTS Academy players Jack Steele and Jeremy Finlayson and high selections in next month’s draft, we believe our list is in a strong position ahead of the 2015 season,” he said.

The NAB AFL Draft will be held on the Gold Coast on Thursday, November 27.
