The club had some special visitors when international models Jordan and Zac Stenmark dropped by GIANTS HQ.

The boys are no strangers to the club, having played for Team GWS for two years before they began their modelling careers.

The Stenmark twins were members of the GIANTS’ TAC Cup team in 2010, then known as Team GWS. They also played in the club’s first year in the NEAFL in 2011 before the GIANTS joined the AFL in 2012.

The boys still keep in touch with many of their former teammates including midfielder Jacob Townsend, who has been at the club since the same time as the twins.

They have also struck up a friendship with several more of the GIANTS, including Stephen Coniglio, who are developing a strong interest in fashion.

Though the club has changed a lot in three years, they still found some familiar faces in the hallways, including Senior Assistant Coach Alan McConnell, NEAFL Coach Brett Hand and Strength and Conditioning Coach Lachie Wilmot.

With their height and athletic build, Jordan and Zac were promising AFL players when they were part of the GIANTS’ Under-18 side, both able to play at either end of the ground.

They were training with the club and working in a cafe when a friend suggested they should try modelling. They burst onto the fashion scene in 2011 and haven’t looked back, gaining an international following for their work on the catwalk.

But with the boys both still only 22, could we see them in a GIANTS jumper again in the future?
