Former Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions player Amon Buchanan was appointed a Development Coach at the GIANTS at the end of 2013.
He has since moved into the role of a line coach, taking responsibility for the forwards group.
Buchanan played 134 AFL games over 11 years, including the 2005 premiership.
He worked with the Sydney Swans Academy and as a playing-assistant coach for the Sydney Hills Eagles in the NEAFL. Buchanan was also an assistant coach for the NSW/ACT Rams in the 2013 NAB AFL Under-16 and Under-18 National Championships.
On top of his roles with junior footballers, Buchanan held part time positions with NRL clubs Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters as a catching coach.
