The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS are pleased to announce the establishment of the GIANTS Foundation to be chaired by Number One Ticket Holder Melissa Doyle.
The GIANTS Foundation will support community organisations and charities across Western Sydney and Canberra.
Seven News presenter Melissa Doyle was appointed the inaugural chairperson of the GIANTS Foundation at its first board meeting in Sydney.
“I'm incredibly proud and believe the GIANTS Foundation can make a real difference in our community,” Melissa said.
“The GIANTS are committed to driving positive community outcomes in Western Sydney and Canberra and I look forward to working with my colleagues to achieve these.”
GIANTS Chairman Tony Shepherd said the GIANTS Foundation would help ensure the delivery of the long term community vision for the club and support community organisations and charities across the club's footprint.
”The establishment of the GIANTS Foundation is another important building block for the club in just our second year in the AFL,” he said.
“It will be a vehicle for people and organisations to support the club’s important work in the community, particularly in Western Sydney and Canberra. I want to thank those who have agreed to join our inaugural board led by Melissa Doyle.”
