Cameron: GIANTS looking for forward balance

Davis: GIANTS can fill void left by Mumford

There will be a big hole to fill in GIANTS' midfield this year after the retirement of Shane Mumford, but co-captain Phil Davis is confident others will step up and cover the loss of the 'enforcer'.

Tracey Kick is a former Health and Physical Education teacher who grew up in Western Victoria. She commenced senior women’s coaching roles in the AFL Sydney competition in 2009. 

Since then Tracey has been a four time premiership coach with local clubs Balmain and UNSW-Eastern suburbs, State Women’s Coach,  awarded Sydney AFL Coach of the Year in 2010-11 and 2015-16 and University of UNSW Sport Coach of the Year in 2017. 

Coaching roles have included:

- NSW State Team Senior Women’s Coach 2011-2013 (Division One National Champions 2011)
- Sydney AFL Representative Team Senior Women’s Head Coach 2011-13
- Sydney AFL Men’s Representative u23 Assistant Coach 2014
- Inaugural NSWACT Women’s State Team Assistant Coach 2015
- Sydney Swans Academy Coach 2017

Tracey is also an accredited consultant for DISC team and athlete assessments and enjoys working with the whole player and the playing group to achieve a high performance culture and team excellence. Tracey joins the GIANTS ahead of the 2018 AFLW season.
